DISCOVERING IDAHO
We had been coming to North Idaho for quite awhile as our family owns a cabin in Wallace, ID.
After several years of traveling and living in various other states to finish college, we decided to call
North Idaho home. We loved the beauty the area offered as well as all the activities you can do with
your family. As a family we enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, biking, spending
time on the lakes and rivers, and much more! North Idaho just fit us.
We purchased our very first home in the Coeur D'Alene area knowing that would be a temporary
situation as we were wanting land. Our dream had always been to own a log home nestled in the
woods. In the summer of 2008 we finally had come across a parcel of land that we just had to
have. It was time to make our move and take the first step towards our dream.
FINDING THE RIGHT LOG HOME MANUFACTURER
We had spent quite a bit of time researching different log home companies and what they offered.
We looked online, read the various log magazines, attended home shows, talked to others, and after
all our research we chose to represent the REAL LOG HOME product line. Their interlock joinery
system and pre-cut log package was superior to none. After choosing them for our own personal
home we realized that they did not yet have someone to represent them here in the North Idaho area.
We were so happy with the service we received and the quality product they offered, that we
wanted to offer and share that with others here in the area. We decided to join the REAL LOG
HOME family. We were comforted with the national coverage the brand received. Support on a
national level would help us better service our future clients. The REAL LOG HOMES brand
product line is manufactured at two fully-tooled manufacturing facilities and one of them was right
near us in Missoula, MT. That itself was huge as that would save us on shipping costs for us and
our future clients. We also found that very few companies could compete with the support offered
by a design staff and manufacturing employees at two regional facilities. Add that to the highest
quality product available and over 45 years of experience and the results are nothing but exceptional.
THE DREAM BEGINS
We are currently in the design process for our model home and finishing up the purchase of the
land. Keep checking back for updates as we break ground and move forward on our dream! In
